Harry is so weird and random and quirky and a little bit insane and I find it kind of interesting that we only fairly recently started seeing this side of him. Like he was always a bit of a goob, obviously, but I feel like it was much more underplayed back in the day.
I think it really speaks loudly about how much of their images are forced upon them for convenience. Since Harry was the cute one with the curly hair all the girls would like during X-Factor, he of course was stuck with the flirt/womanizer label and didn’t really get to display his actually rather eccentric personality. I feel like, at first, he agreed to play along with the image because that’s what they told him to do, but as he grew up he started resisting it more.
I just think it’s interesting how he used to portray himself as this smooth, slick guy who had his occasional moments of eccentricity and now he’s just a big ball of random, gibberish, strange, eccentric nonsense who kisses boys on the cheek, wears penis necklaces, and vines about brushing his teeth.
Does anyone understand what I’m trying to say here or am I just rambling?
